CFAV congratulates newly appointed Trust CEO

On 1 June 2016, the Chair of the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust, Margaret White AO, announced the appointment of Adam Davey as Chief Executive Officer of the WCMT.

Mr Davey is a senior public servant who comes to the WCMT from the Therapeutic Goods Administration, within the Commonwealth Department of Health. As well as managing large teams of people and complex policy and technical assignments in that Department, Mr Davey has worked at ComSuper, Defence Housing Australia, Medicare, the Australian Taxation Office, Treasury and IP Australia. He also has small business experience.

A letter of congratulations was forwarded to Mr Davey in early June by CFAV President, Mr Ben Nicholson, on behalf of the CFAV Committee and wider Members of the Churchill Fellows Association Victoria.

A letter of thanks has also been forwarded to retiring WCMT CEO, Mr Paul Tys and his wife Lori in early June by the CFAV President, noting particularly the strengthening of the bond between the CFAV and Churchill Trust during Paul’s sixteen years in the role.
